KRAFT recruitment are seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join a well-established and industry recognised conveyoring company based in the Bedfordshire area. The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will ideally have experience within the FMCG and Conveyors industry, NEBOSH qualification and have a minimum of HNC education.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to further their career or even a current Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to move into a fast paced and reputable company. ¾ of the time spent in this role will be site based.

Senior Mechanical Project Engineer Role:

? To manage or assist in managing the range of my client's projects, from order through to sign off.
? Manage installation crew, ensuring all aspects of customer requirements are communicated including H&S, site/working practices etc.
? Reporting daily/weekly, ensuring the status of projects are communicated and on schedule.
? Give technical support to the Sales Team, as and when required
? Directly liaise with clients re current and future projects
? Monitor and Report the status of projects to the management team.

Senior Mechanical Project Engineer Requirements:

? Experience within the FMCG or handling/packaging industry,
? Conversive with Microsoft packages
? Understand Health and Safety, CDM, Risk assessments, Method statements
? Must have practical conveyor/machinery installation experience.
? Have a technical/design knowledge of manufacturing equipment & processes
? Experience in conducting site surveys and applying these to CAD layouts
? Know how to ensure project details, practical and commercial, are managed
? HNC/Degree Engineering Qualifications or similar
? NEBOSH qualified preferred
? Be comfortable with clients and competent to help sales team
? The successful candidate will spend a short period of time shadowing the Project Manager to familiarise themselves with my clients equipment and methods
